On April 22, 2026, AGRO International GmbH & Co. KG welcomed 17 members of the Lions Club Melle Gronegau to its site in Bad Essen.

As part of a comprehensive tour, the guests gained insights into the production of innerspring systems as well as into the organizational and technological processes along the entire value chain. In addition to the modern manufacturing environment, particular focus was placed on the company’s development — from its origins in 1948 to its current position as an internationally active manufacturer.

Another key topic was the role of innerspring systems in enabling healthy and comfortable sleep. It became clear how crucial the interaction of design, materials, and production processes is for ensuring product quality and durability.

The connection between tradition and innovation was also highlighted, including a reference to the Federkernmuseum at the Bad Essen site, which documents the development of innerspring technology.

The visit provided an opportunity for open exchange and deeper insights into an industrial environment that often remains behind the scenes, yet plays a key role in international markets.

AGRO would like to thank the Lions Club for their interest and the constructive dialogue.
